If you haven't heard we are heading back to Minneapolis later this summer for another mini-mission trip. If you are interested, please pick up an application. You must apply by this Sunday, June 26th. The team will be announced by Wednesday, June 29th.
Here is info for the trip:
When: Thursday,
August 4th – Saturday, August 6th
Cost: $100 per student
Who: 8 students chosen by application
We will be leaving early Thursday morning to spend 2 days
and nights at the Minneapolis Life Center, a ministry run by the Inner City
Church of Minneapolis. We will be
serving at their center and learning about the ministry they have in down town
Minneapolis. We also will be sleeping at
the center. On Saturday morning we will
head to Fridley to serve with Manna Markets – a ministry that we have worked
with during our previous two mission trips to Minneapolis. The trip will end by returning to Duluth on
Saturday evening for the City on a Hill concert at Bayfront Festival Park
featuring the NEWSBOYS!
