Congrats Class of 2012 - Ryan Paulson
This week we are honoring those from our youth group who are graduating from high school. Today we honor Ryan Paulson. Ryan has been a part of Bayside since he was a wee little lad. He grew up in the church and has been a part of youth group since entering 6th grade. He is also involved with CEF and serves in many different areas in our church. He plans on attending UWS in the fall. Good luck Ryan! We'll miss you!
Look through the past posts of the blog for previous seniors. And check back the rest of this week for more seniors to come! Congrats Class of 2012!

Congrats Class of 2012 - Zach #2
This week we are honoring each of our seniors in the Bayside youth group. This is their last week of school! Superior High School graduation is this Saturday!
Today we honor Zakk Grandahl. Zakk has been a part of our youth group for about 4 years now. He originally came as a friend of the Caspers and eventually became a regular part of your youth group. Soon after he started bringing his sister and brother along and now they too are a regular part of youth group. Zakk plays guitar and has been a part of the youth group worship team for the last year. He is undecided about his near future, but would like to go into the musical instrument building business. Best of luck Zakk! We will miss you!
Check back all week long as we honor each of our seniors on the blog!

Last night of JR HIGH and AMP
Tomorrow is our last night of the school year for JR HIGH and AMP. We will be taking a break for the summer and start meeting back up on Wednesday nights after school starts back up.
Since this is the last week of the school year, we are going to celebrate with a party and PRIZE NIGHT! If you are in 5th-8th grade you do not want to miss it. We have several prizes, enough for everybody to go home happy. And if you win a big prize you might jump for joy like Jaycie (above) did!
See you tomorrow night!

Top Ten Reasons to Stay Pure
We just finished a great study in SR HIGH youth group on Song of Solomon. The study looked at relationships and we even talked about sex! Through this study we learned some very important Biblical principles and viewpoints on relationships, dating, marriage and sex. During the last session we talked about purity.
Here are the top ten reasons to stay pure:
1. Sexuality prior to marriage violates scripture
2. Premarital sex violates another person
3. Premarital sex violates the purpose of your own body
4. Premarital sex violates the command for self-control
5. Premarital sex violates your testimony
6. Premarital sex violates the church
7. Premarital sex violates your parents
8. Premarital sex violates your future marriage
9. Premarital sex violates good health
10. Premarital sex removes your boldness.
These are really good points and standards to think of when it comes to relationships, dating, and sex. If you ever have a question about any of these topics, please contact Pastor Tom or one of the youth leaders. We can get you answers, we can get you help, we can pray for you. Please let us know.
