We have had some wonderful serving and outreach projects so far this year. It all started last summer when 9 of our students went on a short missions trip to Minneapolis.
We also have served a meal to the homeless at the Union Gospel Mission in Duluth AND helped volunteer at the Special Olympics bowling tournament.
This Saturday is our next outreach and service project. We are going to have a Christmas Party with children at the Harbor House. The Harbor House is a homeless shelter in Superior. There are different families each month that live in the house until they can find a place to live. We are going to hang out with their children so the parents can get away for an afternoon. We plan to play games and have lots of Christmas fun!
We plan to meet at the church at 2:15pm. The event will start at 2:30pm at the Harbor House in South Superior. We should be done by about 5:00pm and back to the church by 5:15pm or so.
