This last week in our youth group has been amazing. Hopefully you have been here at some point because we have had some really cool things happening. Here's a recap:-A week ago on Wednesday night we had a campus missionary year-end celebration. There were several adults from our church at youth group and we had a prayer time for every student to pray with an adult. It was very powerful and moving!
-Last Friday night was Girls and Guys Night Out! It was a blast. I still don't even know what the girls did! The guys played football and video games. And some were lucky enough to go out to Dairy Queen. Then we all had a bonfire together with the girls. And there were SMORES! It was a lot of fun and we had 45 students out for this event. Thanks everyone who came and made it a great night!
-On Sunday we had some great conversation in our Senior High small groups. We started our summer series on FEAR and got the ball rolling with a lot of good thoughts and ideas on our fears. We also had a quiz and an intense game of kickball (students vs. youth leaders) in which the students won.
-And last night at Wednesday night JR HIGH youth group we had a blast helping with the games for Vacation Bible School. I want to thank everyone who was there and so willing to help. We played Bin Ball Tag, Dodge Ball Line Up, and had relays. It was a great time.
I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of summer, even if the weather doesn't feel like it. Remember we will keep having youth group throughout the summer. Senior High on Sunday nights and Junior High on Wednesday nights.
