On Wednesday night we began our new series and theme of "Who is this Jesus?" We started our journey looking at the reason of why Jesus used parables to teach. In Matthew 13:10-17 the disciples asked Jesus this exact question. But his answer is mysterious. As we searched deeper we found that the parables were used as a secret code, making the gospel all the more intriguing.
It was a great night and we were glad to see so many of you out there. We had a total of 65 in youth group! We will continue learning from and about the parables over the next several weeks and months. I'm looking forward to it.
