Peep eating contest

This is what happens when the church uses peeps for their Easter invites and then has a bunch left over!  PEEP eating contest at senior high youth group!

It was a one minute contest between Sabrina, Alex and Falyn.  They shoved their faces full and got plenty of sugar in the process.  Falyn actually had the most peeps in her mouth when the time ended, however - she had to spit them out and was disqualified.  Sabrina and Alex both ate 6 peeps in one minute.  So they both won!  Their prize?  A basket full of peeps, of course!

You never know what you're going to get at senior high youth group!

JR HIGH youth group TONIGHT!

It seems like forever since we last had youth group (it's been a long two weeks) but just wanted to remind everyone in 6th-8th grade that we have JR HIGH youth group tonight - Wednesday, April 23rd.

Did you get a Bayside youth group T-shirt?  They are pretty awesome and I hope every student who goes to our youth group can get one!

If you haven't got one yet - we are selling them for $10.  We only have mediums and smalls left, so get them while you can!

Jason and Cody have modeled them so nicely...

No Senior High youth group on Easter

Just a reminder that we will NOT be having senior high youth group on Sunday, April 20 - due to the Easter holiday.

Because of the current snow storm conditions, we will NOT be having youth group activities tonight (Wednesday, April 16.)

An Amazing Retreat

Words cannot express the gratitude that we have for the way that God worked and moved through our students at our annual Bayside youth group retreat.

We had 59 students attend.  That is the most we have had in over 10 years!

Worship was powerful.  Speakers were challenging and encouraging.  And students were engaging.

We hope that you continue to ABIDE!

Pray for our retreat

We are currently on our annual Bayside youth group retreat.  Please pray that God would bless us with an amazing and powerful weekend.  That worship would be moving, that students lives would be changed forever and that our hearts would turn towards God.

Retreat this weekend is ON! (The snow won't stop us - it might slow us down, but IT WILL NOT STOP US!)

It's supposed to snow Thursday and Friday.  We know.  No worries.  We WILL still have a youth retreat!

The plan is for everyone to meet at Bayside at 4pm on Friday.  We will determine at that point if the roads are safe enough for the bus to get us to Storybook Lodge.  Either way the RETREAT begins at 4pm on Friday.

So if you signed up for the retreat be to church at 4pm on Friday.  We will figure things out from there.

It's going to be an awesome weekend!  Can't wait!!!
