Super Bowl Party

This Sunday night is the Super Bowl!  And we are going to have a Super Bowl party!  We will have snacks, games, contests and of course the game will be on.  Whether you care about the actual game or not, come out and have some fun with us.

We will judge the commercials, make fun of the players, predict different outcomes from the game, and have prizes!

We will have snacks!  Candy, chips, desserts!

We will play games!  Dodgeball or soccer or hockey.

It will be fun!  The game starts at 5:30pm.  Our doors will open at 5:00pm.  All of our official games and contests will be done by 8:00pm, but you are welcome to stay and watch the entire game - which should end around 9:30pm or so.

Bayside Bowl - 25 days away

Saturday, February 23rd - from 11:00am until 4:00pm we will be having our 7th annual Bayside Bowl!  We hope you join us for games, food, prizes, fun and of course our annual football tournament.  Plan on being there!  It is completely free and we encourage you to invite your friends.

Ukraine Mission Trip Meeting on Sunday after YG

We are currently planning a youth missions trip to Ukraine this summer.  If you are interested in going on this AWESOME trip we are having an informational meeting this Sunday night at 8pm - after Senior High youth group.  We hope you can make it.

Right now our plan is to go to Ukraine on July 12-20.  We are hoping for 10 students and a few adults.  Would you consider going on this trip?  Please pray about it and talk to Pastor Tom if you are interested.

And come to the meeting on Sunday after youth group.  We will have tons of information and answer questions that you might have.

And the 2013 retreat theme is...

Well we have decided what the theme will be for the 2013 retreat.  Remember our annual youth group retreat will be March 15-17.  The cost is $60 and you need a permission slip on file.  And you can invite friends - they are welcome and we would love to have many!

We are excited about this year's retreat and want to see 50 students there!  That means you should come and invite a friend.

40 days until the Bayside Bowl!!!

That's right - just 40 days from today we will be having the 7th annual Bayside Bowl!!!!

Saturday, February 23rd, from 11:00am-4:00pm.

We will have games, food, prizes, fun and a huge football tournament.  This event is for all students in 5th-12th grade!

It always is a fun time and there are always tons of fun things to do.  Plan on attending.  If you have questions just let me know.

Free Pizza tonight at AMP and JR HIGH!!!

Tonight we invite all you 5th-8th graders to come out for AMP and JR HIGH from 6:30pm-7:45pm.  If you come at 6:00pm for dinner we are serving pizza - FREE!

We also have a special challenge for you, come and check it out!

Will you take the challenge?

Currently at Bayside we are starting the new year off with a big challenge to our ENTIRE congregation.  We have challenged EVERYONE at Bayside to read through the Bible in 2013.  This includes students.  Which means this includes you!

If you take this challenge and spread the reading out over the entire year, it takes about 15 minutes a day to complete the reading.  Do you have 15 minutes that you can commit to God?  Do you have 15 minutes to give to God?  Or are you too busy?

I preached the sermon at church on Sunday, many of you were there.  If you weren't I would encourage you to go listen to that sermon.  It was all about taking on this challenge.  And let me tell you - so far 15 students have made that commitment!

How many more of you are willing to take a huge step, make a huge sacrifice - but be BLESSED in a huge way?
